Ciao a tutti,
last year I've found two pictures of libian desertforts on the flea market near Porta Portese in Roma.
Does anybody know, which of the italian forts are shown on these fotos? Both are marked an the backside with "*R. GIORGINI * TRIPOLI"

I can't help you on the identification of these fortifications (i think that are italian fortifications like these: http://miles.forumcommunity.net/?t=31093851 ), but, browsing on the web, i have found that "Giorgini" was one of the first italian families that arrived in Lybia after the italian colonization.
A zone of Tripoli was named "Giorginpopoli" in honor of this family...
